My roommates are so nice! And so is Kevin :) And all of my friends who made me smile.

Also, I love food so much.

Because that means I’m not annoying and I don’t send too many emails!

Haha.

Honestly, I have a pretty awesome job.

Happiness is a Warm Puppy

I got this as a Christmas gift from my favorite K. (thanks!) and I think it’s really cute. Also, I spend too much of my time focusing on why I’m not happy and things I am unsatisfied with rather than what life has given me.

So I’ve made up a few resolutions and goals. Yes, these are two separate categories.

Top 3 resolutions:

• Be more happy. Write about happy things. Most likely here.
• Less foul language. I say this every year…
• More exercise. I’ll probably never be as fit as I used to be, but 5 minutes of running should not leave me gasping for air. How embarrassing.

Top 3 goals:

• Graduate with honors.
• Find a job.
• Get into med school.

2012, you are going to be one hell of a year.

Can’t believe it’s already my last year here. Weird how it went by so quickly and I am kind of not ready to be a senior.

BUT. I have lofty goals for this year that I will hopefully be able to accomplish. Pretty determined, so let’s do this.

Had my last study group today! It was pretty fun overall, even though I do say silly things sometimes. But I had fun teaching and hopefully it was helpful for my students.

Now, I can enjoy my time until school starts :)

Well…after I make a poster and do other stuff for lab of course. Which should be by this weekend.

Where it actually feels like summer :)

Hooray for home and my queen sized bed. And of course the stuff I had delivered here. NEW SHOES YAY.

Well this is a pretty useless post, but all I have to say is I am kind of sick of being in Berkeley all summer. My schedule is starting to bore me. At least being home for the weekend is a nice change of pace!

Pet peeves

I really have a lot of these. And apparently I wrote a post about pet peeves a year a half ago.

Driving:

• when people don’t use turn signals
• reckless driving
• Asian mom/Darth Vader/whatever people call them masks

Walking:

• when people take up the whole damn sidewalk
• when bikers are on the sidewalk

The end for now. I have too many pet peeves for my own good. Getting irritated so often is probably not very healthy :P

Sleeping too early is weird

So I am waiting until my clock says 11pm to go to bed.

Actually, maybe I’m just weird.

I just killed a spider

Which, if you know me, I only do when I absolutely have to. In other words, when nobody else is around. Given that it’s not even 7am, I had to step up and do it myself. Gross!

Well, summer session C started yesterday which means soon I will be super busy. I started notetaking and my first study group is tomorrow! Eeeek hopefully my students will like me and I don’t make a fool out of myself.

I have a feeling I will be much more of a wreck tomorrow. Today, I will just focus on not falling asleep during lab meeting, taking good notes in an unbearably hot 100 Lewis, and making a good worksheet.

I guess I’m a big kid after all.

Berkeley in the summer

I thought three years at Berkeley would train me to tolerate gloomy weather more, but boy was I wrong.

Global warming is such a misnomer. It should be called global screw around with the weather.
