Until you realize how much money you’ve spent!

It’s okay though, I can justify my little shopping spree with the excuse that I won’t be able to go shopping anytime soon.  Haha, some excuse that is.  Whatever, I’m happy with what I bought,  especially my rainboots!  I was kind of sad when it stopped raining last week just when my rainboots came in the mail, but today they had their glorious debut.

Rainy days are just so much more fun when you don’t have to worry about getting your feet wet.

The first week of classes is over and done with and I am glad.  Classes seem like they will be interesting, I like my professors, and I’m somewhat looking forward to the challenge.

I hung out with my roommate Saturday to celebrate my birthday which ended up being crazy fun.  Hahaha yes.  And my dear brother drove down today from Davis and brought me brownies that he baked and took me out for dinner.  See, he does like me!

So.  I’ve been enjoying the start of the semester and new things and whatnot.  I am excited!

Thanks for the birthday wishes and for making me smile :]

As Friday morning draws nearer, I can’t help feeling a little sad about leaving home.  This break has been both a blessing and a curse- I really needed the sleep and downtime, but I’m starting to get anxious and fidgety at home.  Maybe it’s the prospect of starting a new semester and my hopes and goals when I return to school.  But I’m ready for this.

These past few days have been a wonderful way to end break.  Hanging out with people, visiting some teachers, reading.  I’ve felt more at peace than I have in a while.  I guess I’m coming to terms with things and it’s doing me some good.  I love just being able to be relax without feeling guilty.

I’m guessing the next time I write in here I’ll be back at Berkeley.

Cupertino and friends, I will miss you!  Please stay safe and remember to give me some occasional updates on life.

Love you, bye!

Hello, world.

January 2, 2009

I have finally decided to retire my xanga.  I’ve been thinking about doing it for quite some time, and what better time to start fresh than the beginning of a new year?

So here we are.  A new place for me to post my ramblings for all to see.  Hoorah!
